A robust video editor for mobile

Node Video is a free video application developed by Shallway Studio for mobile devices. It's a video editing app that features robust tools and options that allow users to make complex and refined adjustments to their videos, as well as effects to change their look and presentation.

Similar to Quik or VN Video Editor, Node Video makes it easy for anyone to edit videos on the fly on their mobile devices while on the go. What makes it stand out is the number of functions it offers, such as layered editing, some handy AI processing, and professional-level presets.

How do I use it?

It's no stretch to say that Node Video is one of the most powerful and comprehensive mobile video editing apps that you will ever come across today. The sheer amount of options and adjustment sliders it offers will be quite overwhelming when you first use it. The UI is divided into three sections: the preview window is up top, contextual menus in the middle, and a timeline at the bottom.

Click on the red "+" button to add a new layer and import your media over. Once added, you'll have various options available to you for editing through what's called Property in the Transform tab. This lets you change things like video parameters, use effects and filters, or add custom audio to your clips. You can even use AI features to separate foreground and background layers or do professional-level color grading.

As you do all of your edits, you can refer to and scrub your timeline at the bottom to check if changes are getting applied properly—a feature that is usually reserved for more advanced desktop-class video editors. One important thing to take note of here is that this app comes with a steep learning curve, which is understandable given its extensive feature set.

A unique and powerful mobile video editor

There is no shortage of video editor apps that cater to various needs and requirements, be it quick and simple edits to more complex and delicate adjustments. Node Video positions itself on the higher spectrum of the latter, serving as a near-complete package that is too good not to consider. Highly recommended.

Softonic

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
